Granger Medical Clinic and Wasatch Internal Medicine announce merger
Granger Medical Clinic and Wasatch Internal Medicine are proud to announce the merging of their two independent medical group practices. The merger allows the two entities to better serve the Salt Lake Valley.
Granger Medical Clinic is the largest independent medical group in the Utah Salt Lake Valley. A multi-specialty clinic, Granger Medical offers care in several communities: West Valley, West Jordan, Draper, Riverton, Tooele, and Millcreek. Wasatch Internal Medicine has been providing patient care in the Millcreek area for over 15 years.
According to Granger Medical’s CEO, David Tanner, “Wasatch Internal Medicine physicians are committed to providing the best care available; this aligns with Granger Medical’s philosophy.
“Combining forces will strengthen our joint ability to provide high quality at a lower cost,” Tanner said. “The overall goal is to help our patients get well, feel well, and be well.”
Through this merger, Wasatch Internal Medicine’s staff of 14 providers and 37 employees join Granger Medical’s expanding team, now including 104 providers and more than 400 support staff. Wasatch Internal Medicine is located on the St. Mark’s Hospital Campus (on 39th South), in the North Medical Building.
