Jordan Medical Arts Providers

Dr. LaVere Poulsen and Dr. Glenn Wilson founded Granger Medical Clinic (GMC) more than 50 years ago. Recognizing that, at the time there was very little medical infrastructure west of the Jordan River, Drs. Poulsen and Wilson established their practice to serve the growing city of what was then known as Granger, Utah and the surrounding communities.

Since then, the clinic has grown to include over 84 medical providers and is currently the largest independent clinic in the Salt Lake Valley. Granger Medical Clinic is a one-stop-shop designed to accommodate all of a patient’s medical needs at one convenient location.  Our specialty groups include: Urgent Care, Primary Care, (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology) along with our Specialties including: Audiology, Dermatology & Mohs Surgery, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedic Hand & Wrist Surgery, Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Pain & Spine, Pediatric Sports Medicine, Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Sleep Disorders, and Urology. Other on-site services may include: X-ray, Laboratory, Pharmaceutical,  Heart Care Center, Optical Shops, Pediatric Dentistry, Dieticians and Physical Therapy services are also available at the clinic without having to leave the building!

Granger Medical Clinic currently offers four clinic locations in the Utah Salt Lake Valley. From our main offices in West Valley, our Jordan Medical Arts in West Jordan, Riverton and recently added their fourth location, Draper, in the fall of 2013. We are also seeing patients in the Tooele Valley inside the NorthPointe Medical Complex in Tooele, Utah.

As part of its commitment to deliver the highest level of care, the clinic has implemented a sophisticated electronic medical record system that allows the providers to instantly access the patient data needed and automates activities such as prescribing, dictating, ordering labs and reviewing results, documenting clinical encounters, and providing patient education.  This new technology also adds our patients the convenience of accessing their medical records via the Patient Portal.

Through it all, Granger Medical Clinic has maintained the personal, caring touch of healing that you have grown to know and trust.  Our mission statement reflects this, ” Granger Medical Clinic offers exceptional healthcare for you and your family with a lifetime commitment to quality, compassion and respect.”

My daughter has a number of health problems and it is always a fight to get her to the doctor. We switched to a pediatrician at Granger Clinic who really made her laugh. She doesn’t put up a fight anymore and tells her friends about her “doctor friend”.
