Granger Medical Clinic has an opening for a MT (ASCP) Lab Leader, supervising a clinical lab in a multi speciality medical clinic in West Valley City that also serves two satellite locations.
Responsible for the daily operations, that include clinical policy adherence and process effectiveness in a fast paced high quality operation.
Reporting to Chief Operations Officer, the Leader will work in collaboration with a team of technicians, phlebotomists and providers in offering phlebotomy and tests. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing validity and process integrity, CLIA and PAC conformance to requirements, and delivery of clinical data into an electronic medical records system. Knowledge of LABDAQ and Allscripts EMR technology is highly desired.
The successful candidate must be CLIA credentialed with at least 4 years appropriate diagnostic lab experience and two years in a leadership position. The candidate should also have an eye for detail, with a ML credential. Additionally they should have a demonstrated and progressive achievement in clinical lab processes and excellent communication skills. They must also be multi-task oriented, with a strong organizational ability.
