He is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with an emphasis on arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee conditions. Dr. Meadows was raised in the Sandy area and loves the associations with both new and established patients in the Sandy and Draper area. He Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 2003. He attended medical school at the Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude and was nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.

Following Graduation, he completed orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio where he trained under leaders in his field of orthopedic surgery and served as the administrative chief resident his final year. Dr. Meadows then completed his fellowship training with Tahoe Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area where he had the opportunity to work with the U.S. Men’s Alpine Ski team locally and during training camp in New Zealand.

Dr. Meadows’ approach to orthopedic surgery is patient based and he relies on the relationship he has with each patient to determine the best evidence-based treatment to achieve the most predictable result. He understands that there are no two conditions that present the exact same way in each patient and surgery is tailored to each individual condition.

Dr. Meadows and his wife Meg have four children and enjoy snow skiing, camping as a family, mountain biking, golfing and traveling.
