Charles W. Haws, MD, FACC

Dr. Haws received his medical degree from the University of Utah and completed a residency and a fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has practiced cardiology for over 30 years. A native of Logan, Utah, Dr. Haws and his wife Annette have four children and four exceptional grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Haws enjoys traveling (to see the grandkids), gardening, golf, tennis, and editing his wife’s novels.

As his practice has matured, his focus has shifted to risk management and disease prevention. Dr. Haws believe patients do best when they understand their illness and takes special pride in teaching patients and families about cardiovascular disease and the options for diagnosis and treatment. He tries to treat patients the way a good physician would treat him.
