Douglas S. Mehr, MD received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School after completing his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. Later completed a residency in ophthalmology and fellowship focused on retina surgery.
Douglas Mehr’s sees patients for: diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, eye trauma, retinal detachment repair, uveitis, and all surgical disease of the retina.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Mehr is actively involved in humanitarian work with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. He has traveled have all over the globe teaching and training ophthalmologist in such places as Tonga, Iraq, Mongolia, Albania and Throughout central and South America.
