Granger Medical Clinic is happy to announce that Ryan Leonard, DO will be joining Granger Medical Clinic’s West Valley location after practicing in Washington for the last eight years. Dr. Leonard received his undergraduate degree from Idaho State University and then completed his DO at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Otolaryngology and Neck and Facial Plastic Surgery.

He treats pediatric disorders including tonsils and adenoids, ear surgery for infection or perforations, congenital cysts or lesions. He treats adult disorders including surgeries for the sinuses, salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid glands. Bone anchored hearing implantation for unilateral deafness or conductive hearing loss. Tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy for chronic ear disease and vocal cord surgery for nodules and papillomas and thyroplasty for vocal cord paralysis.

He has a wide range of Otolaryngology experience including both children and adults. In addition, he has a fairly extensive experience in endocrine surgeries such as Thyroid and Parathyroid diseases.

Care Philosophy:

Dr. Leonard tries to bring compassionate and understanding care to go along with up-to-date treatments. He believes in the Osteopathic philosophy of putting the body in a position to heal itself whether this is through medication, surgery or anatomical improvement. He believes in getting back to the profession.

He recently returned from a medical missionary Guatemala where a large amount of surgeries were performed for people who have had been waiting and needing care that was not available.

He loves the outdoors that includes hunting, fishing, biking, ATVs and golf. He is a Tee ball and soccer coach and a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America. He served a medical mission in Guatemala in 2016 through Faith in Practice.
