Katie Jeans, MD

Sleep & Lung

Dr. Jeans joins Granger Sleep & Lung – Murray after relocating with her family from Houston, Texas. She began her academic career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2009. She went on to further her education and graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans in 2013 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. After completing a residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, she began practicing pulmonary medicine at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and critical care medicine at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. Now she’s looking forward to establishing a new practice here at Granger and enjoying everything that Utah has to offer.

Dr. Jeans believes in treating her patients as if they were part of her family, with compassion and understanding. Shared decision making is one of her main goals; she accomplishes this by empowering her patients to make the best decisions for themselves through educating them on their disease process. She’s passionate about building a strong physician-patient relationship in order to achieve optimal health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jeans enjoys hiking, skiing, and just generally being outdoors. She also loves reading and traveling.
