Brittany Jorgensen, FNP-C – Direct Care & Wellness
Brittany’s nursing journey began on a medical/surgical/trauma/transplant unit, where she worked as a registered nurse before transitioning into surgical services. For 18 years, she served as both an OR circulator and scrub nurse at LDS Hospital, TOSH, and Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Driven by a desire to broaden her clinical knowledge and scope of practice, Brittany earned her BSN from BYU–Idaho in 2015, followed by an MSN and FNP-C certification from Westminster College in 2018.
From 2018 to 2023, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Jordan Family Health in West Jordan, Utah. Although she valued the diversity and scope of family medicine, she became increasingly concerned with the limitations imposed by high-volume scheduling, which often restricted her ability to take thorough patient histories and provide the personalized, comprehensive care she believes every patient deserves.
In 2023, Brittany joined the Metrodora Institute, a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in complex neuroimmune disorders. There, she gained valuable experience collaborating with experts in allergy/immunology, autonomic neurology, neuro-gastroenterology, headache neurology, genetics, and research. She also worked closely with a dedicated therapy team that included specialists in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, pelvic floor therapy, neuropsychology, and nutrition. Supporting patients with complex and often misunderstood conditions was both a meaningful and transformative chapter in her career.
Brittany is now honored to join Dr. Coleby and his team and is excited to continue caring for this unique and inspiring patient community.
