Chase Christensen, DPM

Foot and Ankle

Dr. Chase Christensen joins Granger Medical Clinic as a surgical fellow in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has a particular interest in Diabetic foot infections, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy, sports injuries, traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle, limb salvage, and wound care.

He is a native of Salt Lake City and obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Utah. He then left for Oakland, CA where he completed his medical training at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. While there he served as president of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.

Dr. Christensen completed his residency training in advanced foot and ankle surgery while serving as chief resident at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. He is trained total ankle replacement, ankle stability procedures and in the latest 3D bunion correction as well as MIS (minimally invasive) bunionectomies.

He enjoys skiing, going to the lake, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

Care Philosophy:

Dr. Christensen is an advocate of patient centered treatment plans. He believes in finding solutions to patient’s pain by thorough investigation of the problem and then involving the patient to come to best possible treatment plan. He wants his patients to feel well informed about their condition and takes patient education seriously. Dr. Christensen has advanced surgical training, but only recommends surgery when indicated and he believes there are many conditions that can be alleviated with conservative treatment.
