Robert D. Williams, MD

Family Medicine

 

Dr. Williams is a well established and highly respected family medicine physician. He is an Arizona native and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University – go Sun Devils! Then he attended medical school in Juarez, Mexico, graduating in 1985, and is fluent in Spanish. Following graduation, he completed a residency at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Since then, he has been attending to the medical needs of school-age children, teenagers, adults, and seniors in the south-end of the Salt Lake Valley.

Dr. Williams practices at Granger Family Medicine – Draper and is currently accepting new patients. He has extensive experience in treating chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Connecting with people is one of Dr. Williams’ strengths, he is renowned for listening to his patients and helping where he can. Compassion and clear communication are two of his main values and he strongly believes in empowering his patients by educating them on the importance of regular preventative care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family; he and his wife have six children and seven beautiful grandchildren. He has a love for cars that started early in life and when not at the clinic, you can find him working on his car and maintaining his house. He also enjoys fishing, camping, and hunting.
