Allergy, Asthma & Immunology
Allergy is your body’s overreaction to harmless things such as pollen, dust, pets, or foods. Anyone with allergies and asthma should be able to feel good, be active all day and sleep well at night. You don’t need to accept less.
The area of medical allergy is experiencing new and improved advances and we are pleased to offer up- to-date board certified specialty care to patients of all ages with allergies, asthma, hay fever, sinusitis, and food and insect allergies. We have a well trained and friendly staff to assist you and we appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
All allergy evaluations are performed by a physician educated in an extensive allergy specific training program and board certified by The American Board of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. We continually keep up to date on all the latest options for allergy problems. We provide allergy immunotherapy which can decrease your allergy reaction without drugs. We also offer a full range of carefully chosen medications to control your allergy symptoms. We offer accurate skin testing plus the option of blood tests and will guide you in selecting which test is the best for you.
Our allergy injections are computerized and constantly safety checked. We provide allergy extracts formulated specifically for each patient based on their history and testing. Allergy extracts are made in a sterile environment in a laminar flow hood. We have computerized pulmonary function testing and will evaluate your asthma with National Institute of Health guidelines in order to provide the best management. A personal asthma plan combined with education and inhaler demonstrations are also provided.
Our clinic has a full evaluation and education program for children’s food allergies. For those who have experienced hives, facial or throat swelling, difficulty breathing or fainting after bee, hornet or wasp stings, we offer venom allergy shots which have been 97% successful in eliminating this danger.
The Granger Allergy and Asthma department considers it an honor and privilege to be serving such incredible patients. We follow your care through the process of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. At Granger Medical, we strive to provide quality healthcare with up-to-date information for our patients and their families.
