Overview

Pediatric Sports Medicine

Sports medicine is a medical specialty that deals with physical fitness and the prevention and treatment of injuries related to sports and exercise. Our pediatric sports medicine providers here at Granger Medical Clinic specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and illnesses in children, adolescents, and young adults. We use nonsurgical techniques to treat musculoskeletal conditions (approximately 90% of all sports-related injuries do not require surgical intervention). Some common sports-related conditions include sprains and strains, dislocations, fractures, concussions, tendonitis, and more. We offer pre-participation sports physicals and educate our patients on preventative measures to avoid injuries.

Our highly trained and caring staff work continuously to stay ahead of the advances in sports medicine in order to provide the highest quality services. We have the skills and expertise needed to maintain a superior level of care. Our role also includes acting as an advocate for our patients and their wellbeing. We understand the immense amount of trust you place in us when you select us to care for your child and we don’t take our responsibility lightly. We are ready to partner with you to help your child stay in, or get you back to, peak physical condition and reach their full potential. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
