Justin J. Banks, DPM, MHA

Dr. Banks joins the team at Granger in West Jordan after nearly a decade of caring for patients in Magna and West Valley. A native of Salt Lake City who grew up in Taylorsville, he’s excited to remain close to home and continue serving the community that shaped him. After earning his medical degree in Des Moines, Iowa, and completing his surgical residency in Los Angeles, Dr. Banks returned to Utah—an ideal place to raise his four children.

With a strong commitment to helping patients stay active and pain-free, Dr. Banks emphasizes conservative, non-surgical treatments whenever possible. He partners closely with each patient to create a care plan tailored to their goals, guided by his optimism and patient-centered approach.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Banks treasures time with his family—his wife and their two boys and two girls. Whether traveling, enjoying movie nights, or playing in the yard, family is at the heart of his life. He’s also an avid mountain biker, finding both challenge and joy on the trails.

Dr. Banks dedicates one day each week to the Riverton Wound Clinic, where he focuses on advanced wound care techniques aimed at preventing limb loss and amputation. He maintains active hospital privileges at Riverton Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, Holy Cross hospitals in West Jordan and West Valley, as well as at the Utah Surgery Center.

Dr. Banks provides comprehensive care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment options. His services include:

• Management of fungal infections and plantar warts
• Correction of foot deformities such as bunions and hammertoes
• Treatment of foot and ankle fractures and sports-related injuries
• Reconstructive procedures to restore function and mobility
