Michael Anderson, DPM

Dr. Michael Anderson is a board-qualified podiatric physician and surgeon currently completing a fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Gregory Anderson. He provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with a strong focus on advanced surgical treatment.

A Sandy, Utah native, Dr. Anderson earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Midwestern University after completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He then completed an intensive surgical residency at Intermountain Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, trauma management, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and sports medicine.

Dr. Anderson’s passion for podiatry began during a humanitarian trip to Tonga, where he witnessed the life-changing impact of surgical care in underserved communities. That experience continues to inspire his dedication to improving mobility and quality of life for his patients, and he looks forward to participating in future medical missions.

His care philosophy centers on restoring movement and enhancing daily living. While highly trained in surgical procedures, Dr. Anderson emphasizes conservative, non-surgical treatment options whenever appropriate. He partners closely with each patient to create a personalized, effective care plan. Compassionate, patient-focused care is at the heart of his approach.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Anderson enjoys fishing with his kids, playing basketball and pickleball, taking family walks with his wife, children, and their new puppy, and never turns down a good slice of pizza or a perfectly cooked steak.
