Marshall Nickel, MD, MBA, FAAFP

Dr. Marshall Nickel, MD, MBA, FAAFP, joins the Granger Medical Clinic West Jordan Family Medicine team with more than 15 years of diverse clinical experience spanning primary care, hospital medicine, military medicine, urgent and emergency care, and telehealth.

Dr. Nickel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 1997 and went on to complete his Master of Business Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000. He received his medical degree in 2007 from the American University of Integrative Sciences School of Medicine (formerly Sint Eustatius School of Medicine). He completed his Family Medicine residency in 2011 at MultiCare Health System Tacoma Family Medicine through the University of Washington WWAMI Network.

After residency, Dr. Nickel served as a family medicine staff physician in the United States Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, including a PROFIS deployment to Afghanistan as a Battalion Surgeon with the 101st Airborne Division based out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He brings over 15 years of experience in primary care, hospital medicine, military medicine, urgent and emergency medicine, and telehealth.

Dr. Nickel is board certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He prioritizes listening to and understanding each patient’s needs, applying evidence-based preventive and chronic disease management to care for individuals and families from childhood through advanced age. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, comprehensive care to patients at every stage of life.
