Brooke Sligting, FNP-C

Brooke was raised in Sandy, Utah where she attended Brighton High School. She continued her education at the University of Utah with a bachelor’s in nursing. Her 25-year nursing career was focused on pediatrics. She worked at Primary Children’s Hospital in their Infant Unit, then later in their float pool. She has also worked extensively as a case manager with pediatric homecare. Most recently she has been working in a family practice in Riverton. Brooke is married with four children. When her youngest was 11 she decided to fulfill her lifelong desire to continue Brooke Sligting, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering holistic, patient-centered care for individuals and families across the lifespan. She earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Governors University and completed the majority of her clinical training right here at Zenith Riverton under the mentorship of Ally Roberts, NP. After more than 25 years as a registered nurse—including roles at Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Homecare, and a family practice clinic in Riverton—Brooke is thrilled to expand her practice and continue caring for the community in a broader capacity.

Brooke believes healthcare should address the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with lifestyle and preventative strategies, focusing on nutrition, stress management, sleep, and physical activity to support long-term wellness. She values collaboration and takes time to understand each patient’s unique goals, empowering them to actively participate in their own care.

Her personal experiences as an active mother involved in her children’s sports have shaped her special interests in conditioning, injury prevention, and treatment strategies. Whether guiding pediatric patients through developmental milestones, supporting women through health transitions, or managing chronic conditions at any age, Brooke is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care.

Outside of the clinic, Brooke enjoys hiking, running, biking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She looks forward to building strong relationships with the families she serves and promoting well-being at every stage of life.
