Douglas J. Heiner, MD

Before joining Granger Medical Clinic and returning to Utah, Dr. Heiner practiced for 10 years at North Valley Dermatology in Arizona, specializing in Mohs surgery and general dermatology. He completed his dermatology residency and fellowship in Mohs Surgery at the Boston University School of Medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center, where he was chief resident and later a clinical instructor. He earned his Doctor of Medicine through the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Research Honors.

Dr. Heiner has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive skin care, with a particular focus on skin cancer detection, treatment, and reconstruction. His philosophy is simple — to combine advanced medical expertise with compassion and clear communication, so that the patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in the care they receive.
