Dr. Chavez is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a specialized practice focused on advanced gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. These procedures are used in the treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.
Dr. Chavez believes that OB/GYN care is a collaborative effort between a patient and her physician, where the best outcomes result from adhering to best practices in medicine and education of his patients about the best strategies for their care. Dr. Chavez was born to Central American parents in California and was raised in Alaska. He is proud to call Utah his home.
