Jon spent over five years as a registered nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital while completing his doctoral training. During this time, he developed a deep passion for caring for pediatric and adolescent patients, which ultimately led him to focus his career in pediatric care. He is proud to be part of Granger Medical Pediatrics–Riverton and is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the children and adolescents of this growing community.
Jon is passionate about volunteer work, particularly mentoring underprivileged youth. He believes every child and adolescent deserves a kind, understanding, and dependable adult who will listen, support, and help them feel safe and valued. He is committed to helping patients and their families understand the importance of health during these formative years and encourages children and adolescents to take an active role in their care. Jon values building strong, trusting relationships through shared decision-making and uses evidence-based medicine to guide thoughtful, effective care.
Outside of the clinic, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He comes from a close-knit family and is the middle child of five. He is a lifelong University of Utah fan and especially enjoys attending football games in the fall. In the summer, he enjoys spending time at the lake, riding his dirt bike, and playing golf.
Jon is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where children and adolescents feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care, and he looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families he serves.
