K. Tyson Bailey, DO

Dr. Tyson Bailey joins Granger Medical Clinic Internal Medicine—Sandy/Draper clinic after completing his residency with Abrazo Healthcare in Glendale, Arizona. As a native to Utah, he is excited to be building a lifelong practice caring for patients. Dr. Bailey is an advocate for his patients, having won both “Resident of the Year Award” in 2021 during the height of the COVID pandemic and “Outpatient Medicine Resident of The Year” in 2022.

Dr. Bailey completed medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. While at this faith-based university, he learned how to integrate modern, evidence-based medical practices while focusing on the three tenets of health: mind, body, and soul. Dr. Bailey believes that optimal health comes when all three of these tenets are addressed properly. To address these three tenets fully, Dr. Bailey uses a multidisciplinary approach to ensure every aspect of patients’ well-being is taken care of.

He is married to the love of his life, a professor of writing and has one wonderful daughter.

Dr. Bailey is passionate about the outdoors. He likes to hunt and fish with his father, wife, and other friends or family.

Experience:

While in medical school, Dr. Bailey completed a medical outreach mission in Guatemala. He provided primary care services to underserved, rural populations.

During residency, Dr. Bailey worked at a trauma 1 hospital in Goodyear, AZ; a community hospital in Glendale, AZ; a cardiovascular specialty hospital in Phoenix, AZ; and a private internal medicine clinic in Goodyear, AZ.
