Kira Barondeau received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Utah in 2017. In 2022, she graduated from West Liberty University’s PA program and obtained national certification. She worked as an EEG Tech prior to attending PA school, and during her clinical training, she completed an elective neurology rotation at the Allegheny Health Network Headache Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Kira is thrilled to be joining Granger Medical Clinic and working alongside Dr. Rastogi.
Kira has a longstanding passion for neurology and believes in establishing strong, trusting relationships with each patient. She believes that providing quality care involves a collaborative approach where both the provider and the patient take part in the care plan. It’s important to her to listen and address each patient’s concerns as well as treat each patient as an individual. She also makes it a priority to keep up with the latest literature to practice evidence-based medicine and educate her patients with the most accurate, updated information.
Kira was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah, and moved to Salt Lake City in 2012. After two years away in PA school, she is excited to be back in Utah and serving the Salt Lake community.
In her free time, Kira enjoys yoga, traveling, and exploring all that Utah has to offer.
Kira has held several positions at the Maliheh Free Clinic helping underserved populations, as well as serving at the Salt Lake Veterans Home assisting residents with activities of daily living.
She has also worked as a crisis counselor for Crisis Text Line.
In addition to her volunteer work domestically, Kira also greatly enjoyed embarking on a medical mission trip to Bolivia in 2019.
