LeeAnn Johnson, NP

LeeAnn Johnson has worked in nursing for nearly thirty years, gaining experience across a wide range of settings—from rehabilitation and Adult and Pediatric Life Flight to the Emergency Room and Hospice care. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked with HCA at Jordan Family Health and with IHC at Taylorsville Family Practice, and has even managed her own small family practice. Some of her most rewarding experiences have included teaching at the University of Utah and Westminster College, and volunteering with Operation Smile on several international medical missions.

Perhaps the most meaningful chapter of her nursing career, however, was the opportunity to care for her own parents before their passing. That experience deepened her compassion and offered a profound, personal perspective on both caregiving and the healthcare system as a whole.

LeeAnn believes in working hard and playing hard. She runs a small farm in Murray that has been in her family for six generations, where she enjoys gardening and growing much of her own food. She also loves cooking and going to the movies but especially she loves to travel and see new places– though she’s not a fan of eating out, and prefers to sleep in her own bed. She has a degree in family history and had written several family history books about her early pioneer ancestors. 

She plays the violin and enjoys music immensely and is even learning to paint with watercolors, though she doesn’t show much promise in the area. 

Born on Thanksgiving, it’s no surprise that pumpkin pie and turkey rank among her favorite foods.

LDS mission – Coventry, England.

Numerous community first aid and CPR classes for groups such as the Boy Scouts and local church organizations.

Operation Smile missions to the Philippines, Morocco, and Kenya.
