Richard A. Jones, MPAS, PA-C

Richard (Rick) graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program in 2015. Overall, Rick has more than 24 years of healthcare experience. Prior to enrolling in the program, he worked as a paramedic and firefighter, was a college educator, and spent some time providing medical care to wilderness firefighters in Oregon. His work experience and schooling have enabled him to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge that allows him to provide an exceptional level of care for each of his patients. As a physician assistant (PA-C) Rick has worked in general urology, urological men’s health and urgent care.

Rick has a special interest in treating urological men’s health conditions such as low testosterone, stress urinary incontinence, scrotal content pain, erectile dysfunction, and Peyronie’s Disease. He works closely with Dr. William Brant of Granger Medical Summit Urology which includes preoperative and postoperative care. Rick also offers low intensity extracorporal shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) for erectile dysfunction treatment.

In his spare time, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also has a love for the outdoors and enjoys mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and boating.
