Welcome Dr. Katherine W. Munt

Granger Medical Clinic is growing quickly, and constantly adding new providers to better serve our patients. In August, we welcomed Katherine W. Munt, MD, a new Family Medicine practitioner.

Dr. Munt received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Utah State University and her Medical Degree from the University of Utah, School of Medicine in 2008. Her residency was completed in 2011 at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine where she became board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Munt then completed an additional fellowship in Obstetrics from the University of Alabama before returning to Utah.

Dr. Munt has many passions outside of medicine. She enjoys gardening, yoga, biking, skiing, and hiking. She also enjoys puzzles and quilting, spending time with her family, and animals.

Dr. Munt will be able to provide generalized family care, act as a primary physician for insurance companies, and see patients of all ages. She will be an excellent choice for any east-side family as she will be established at Granger Medical Wasatch, 1160 East 3900 South, providing convenient care to residents in Millcreek, Sugarhouse, and Murray. Her services will include a range of acute, chronic, and preventative care, and Dr. Munt has a special interest in providing her patients with education and suggestions to lead healthier lives. Preventative medicine is a growing interest for many providers who truly care about their patients. Giving people the skills they need to be healthy and create an environment in their body that is less susceptible to disease and illness is a top concern for Granger physicians, and Dr. Munt’s philosophy will add greatly to our Wasatch practice.
