Nick A. Trujillo, DO at Granger Family Medicine
Granger Medical Clinic continues to expand in great ways! Today we welcome Nick A. Trujillo, DO to the Granger family of physicians. Dr. Trujillo joins Granger Medical Clinic as a board certified family practice physician with an emphasis on obesity medicine.
He will be accepting new patients at the Granger Medical Riverton location beginning November 15th.
Dr. Trujillo will be seeing patients for regular family medicine checkups, but part of his time will also be dedicated to visits specifically for patients seeking weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes. He attended Utah State University for his undergraduate work, studying psychology. He then went on to Touro University Nevada where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. After receiving his degree, he went on to a residency with the Honor Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Scottsdale, Arizona. During his residency he was heavily involved with community outreach programs, and worked both with the Heuser Family Community Health Center and NOAH – Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health. He received his board certification in family medicine earlier this year, and is working to become an American Board of Obesity Medicine Diplomate, and expects that to happen by January of 2017.
Dr. Nick Trujillo believes that every patient is a unique individual that merits a whole-person approach. He takes the time to closely listen to each patient before deciding on the treatment that best suits them. He has a passion for prevention, patient education, and addressing the obesity epidemic. He strives to be the kind, open, and nonjudgmental medical professional that every patient needs. Dr. Trujillo is married with six children – including two sets of twins! He enjoys playing soccer, cooking, eating sushi, and spending time outdoors with his family.
